We collect very little
All calculations on CanadaCalc run entirely in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or log any financial figures you enter into our calculators. Your salary, savings, mortgage amount — none of it leaves your device.
Information we collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how long people stay, and what devices they use. This data is anonymised and aggregated. We do not use it to identify individuals.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
CanadaCalc displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads.
Cookies
We do not set first-party cookies. Third-party cookies may be set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above.
Calculator inputs
Numbers you enter into our calculators are processed entirely client-side (in your browser). They are never sent to our servers.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics
- Google AdSense — advertising
- Google Fonts — typography (loaded from Google's CDN)
- Cloudflare Pages — hosting (standard access logs)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
Your rights
If you are located in Canada, you have rights under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) including the right to access personal information we hold about you and to request corrections.
